A deceased individual was pulled from a lake in Golden Gate Park this morning. Details beyond that are sparse.
Police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said a workman spotted the body in Mallard Lake and alerted authorities at 9:55 a.m. The Medical Examiner's office will “make the call” on whether a police investigation is called for.
Calls to the Medical Examiner's office have not yet been returned. As such, the sex of the deceased is not known.
