Eating slowly and going to rock shows don't really equate in my world. Unfortunately going out to see bands often means scarfing down a slice real fast, or possibly getting a burrito if you have a whole ten minutes to spare. But Labor Day weekend's upcoming Slow Food Rocks concert merges acts like Gnarls Barkley, Ozomatli, The New Pornographers,
and Medeski Martin & Wood with “good, clean and fair prepared foods, meats, produce, micro-brews and wine.” Also on the bill now, Phil Lesh and Friends, making sure the jam band fans are fairly represented at this healthy little shindig. — Jennifer Maerz
