San Francisco police are asking the public to help locate the driver who struck a pedestrian last night and sped off.
At about 10:43 p.m., pedestrians were crossing west on Eddy Street with a green light. The suspect vehicle was stopped at a red light eastbound on Eddy Street as the pedestrians crossed.
When the light turned green for the vehicle traffic, the suspect driver turned north onto Cyril Magnin and hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk, says Sgt. Danielle Newman.
And officers on foot patrol saw the whole thing.
